Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder is one of the most popular luxury setting powders on the market. This powder offers a long-wearing, airbrushed finish that blurs imperfections and sets makeup for a truly flawless finish.
Unfortunately, Charlotte Tilbury’s setting powder is also one of the most expensive setting powders on the market, so I went on a search for some dupes or alternatives that don’t cost as much.
For those of us who don’t want to spend so much on a setting powder, I found several drugstore setting powders that I think are Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder dupes and are a small fraction of the price of Charlotte Tilbury.
Let’s look at what makes Charlotte Tilbury’s setting powder so unique, and then we’ll see how this drugstore makeup dupe measures up.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder (shown above in the shade Fair) is a makeup finishing powder with a smoothing effect for a flawless airbrushed finish.
The ultra-fine milled powder blurs the look of fine lines and imperfections. This setting powder provides a soft-focus effect for your complexion that will brighten your skin tone.
The secret of this face powder comes down to the following ingredients:
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder: Key Ingredients
- Rose Wax (Rosa Multiflora Flower Wax): Rose wax is an emollient that helps soften and nourish the skin. The wax is extracted from the flowers of the Multiflora Rose.
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil: This plant oil is rich in oleic acid, a fatty acid that helps moisturize and condition dry skin. The oil also contains vitamins B and E that offer protective antioxidant benefits.
- Light-reflecting Pearls: The light-reflecting pearlescent pigments in the powder give your skin a radiant glow by diffusing light as it hits your face.
This setting powder is perfect for dry skin as it doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles or look cakey on your skin. It’s also ideal for normal to combination skin as well as oily skin types, as it helps control shine.
The powder comes in four shades: Fair, Medium, Tan, and Deep. The full-size version of the compact is refillable.
The powder can be used to mattify oily areas, like your t-zone, or to set your concealer and foundation.
If you have oily skin, you can use the powder all over your face by starting in the center and t-zone areas. Apply the powder in an outward/upward motion.
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder Dupes
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder is a gorgeous pressed powder, and although I tried several different powders as dupes, Charlotte Tilbury is nearly in a class of its own with its light-diffusing, pore-blurring properties.
I had never used a setting powder like this before and was amazed at how well it set my makeup without making my skin look cakey or patchy and left a subtle blurred glow to my skin.
The good news is that if you are on the lookout for a good Charlotte Tilbury setting powder dupe, I narrowed it down to the options below that can give you similar results without breaking the bank.
1. Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder
Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder (shown above in the shade Beige) provides medium coverage that is buildable with its blurring pigments for a glowing complexion.
The powder is very lightweight and has a soft, silky feel.
This Charlotte Tilbury powder dupe helps blur the look of pores and fine lines for a smooth finish that looks luminous but never cakey or overdone.
As a bonus, it has a mirror and sponge for quick on-the-go touch-ups.
Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder comes in eight shades to work for a variety of skin tones: Porcelain, Beige, Nude, Soft Sand, Tawny, Caramel, Mocha, and Sable.
2. e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder
E.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder (shown in the shade Light) is a loose setting powder that creates a soft glow and airbrushed finish, just like Charlotte Tilbury.
Although it’s a loose powder, not a pressed powder, you still get a weightless finish like Charlotte Tilbury.
The silky powder contains lab-created sapphire particles that blur imperfections for that soft focus look. The talc-free powder smooths the look of pores and fine lines and keeps shine at bay.
The powder comes in five shades: Light, Light Pink, Medium, Medium Beige, and Deep.
E.l.f. has such great dupes for other Charlotte Tilbury products, and this powder is no exception!
3. Milani Conceal + Perfect Blur Out Powder
Milani Conceal + Perfect Blur Out Powder (shown in the shade Translucent) is a loose powder that gives you a filtered look with its finely milled formula.
This Charlotte Tilbury dupe has a silky, lightweight texture that provides a minimal no makeup look.
Its talc-free formula gives you a radiant poreless look without looking chalky or overdone.
The packaging comes in a unique jar that has an interior cap that flips open to reveal powder that sits on top of netting. This makes it easy to pick up the right amount of powder with a powder brush.
The powder comes in two shades that are formulated to work for all skin tones: Banana, for tone-correcting and brightening, and Translucent, a universal shade for all skin tones.
4. Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder
Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder (shown above in the shade Light/Medium) minimizes shine for up to 16 hours with a jet-milled formula that won’t dry or crack on your skin.
The medium-coverage powder can be layered for more coverage, thanks to its ultra-fine texture. It’s oil-free and non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores.
It comes in a large range of 14 shades that will work for a variety of skin tones. The matte finish it provides makes it an excellent choice for oily skin.
This Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder dupe is the perfect drugstore option for those on a budget who are looking for an affordable setting powder with great coverage.
5. L’Oreal Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder
L’Oreal Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder (shown above in the shade True Beige) performs like a full coverage liquid foundation and provides a matte finish that is lightweight without any caking.
The powder controls shine and is oil-free and non-comedogenic, so it is suitable for all skin types, including acne-prone skin.
This L’Oreal powder is waterproof, sweatproof, and heatproof, so you don’t have to worry about it melting away in the heat. It’s transfer-resistant, too.
The result is skin that looks smooth and even, thanks to the blurring effect of the powder.
If you can never find the right foundation shade for your complexion, this powder has you covered. It comes in 20 shades that work for a wide range of skin tones.
6. Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30 (shown in the shade Translucent) provides an airbrushed finish like Charlotte Tilbury, plus SPF 30 sun protection for your skin.
The mineral powder has an ultra-fine texture that smoothes the look of wrinkles, fine lines, pores and sun damage.
The powder’s sun protection comes in the form of 15% titanium dioxide and 10% zinc oxide.
It is enriched with multiple plant extracts like green tea, chamomile, and ginseng that provide antioxidant protection to help fight against environmental damage.
The pressed powder comes in three shades: Translucent, Creamy Natural, and Beige. I’m guessing the shade range is limited to lighter shades due to the whitening effect of the mineral sunscreen ingredients.
7. Wet n Wild Bare Focus Clarifying Finishing Powder
Wet n Wild Bare Focus Clarifying Finishing Powder (shown above in the shade Light/Medium) is a light coverage finishing powder formulated with skincare ingredients that help mattify and improve skin texture.
Tea tree extract and witch hazel work to clarify your skin while soothing redness and reducing the look of enlarged pores. Perfect for acne-prone skin!
Chamomile extract, seabuckthorn, oatmeal, vegetable collagen, eucalyptus oil, and vitamin E are ingredients that soothe, hydrate, and nourish your skin, helping it look plumper and more elastic.
This Wet n Wild powder is great for setting makeup, controlling oil, and providing a smooth finish. And you can’t beat the super-low price.
The shade range comes in five shades: Translucent, Fair/Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Tan, and Tan/Dark.
8. No7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Finishing Powder
Unfortunately, No7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Finishing Powder appears to be discontinued, which is a shame since it’s such a great dupe!
No7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Finishing Powder (shown above in the shade Light, which is slightly lighter than Charlotte Tilbury’s shade Fair) is all about your skin texture.
It not only sets your makeup for a polished, finished look but also offers three anti-aging benefits:
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines
- Evens out skin tone
- Visibly smoothes the skin
Like Charlotte Tilbury, this dupe diffuses light as it hits your skin, making it look smoother and giving an airbrushed effect. It also helps to reduce the look of enlarged pores and fine lines.
This powder product comes in a beautiful silver compact, reminiscent of Charlotte Tilbury’s chic gold compact. It has the same finely milled texture as Charlotte Tilbury and feels like a much more expensive powder than it is.
This Charlotte Tilbury dupe is a great choice if you want more of a matte finish around your t-zone but still want a healthy, natural look, as it won’t dry out your skin or look cakey or overdone.
I think No7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Finishing Powder is a great drugstore alternative to Charlotte Tilbury’s setting powder!
Like Charlotte Tilbury, it is best applied with a powder brush. It does a great job setting concealer and can be used on oily spots or your entire face.
This Charlotte Tilbury powder dupe is a no-brainer thanks to its affordable price and excellent performance. It feels very lightweight on the skin and doesn’t settle into my fine lines or pores.
The formula is very gentle and is ideal for normal, mature, oily, combination, or dry skin, and it is even suitable for sensitive skin.
The powder comes in four shades: Light, Light/Medium, Medium, and Deep. Even though there are only four shades, they will work for many different skin tones.
Final Thoughts: Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder Dupe
It can be hard to find the right balance with a powder product, whether it is pressed or loose powder. It’s easy for a finishing powder to be too drying or look too makeup-like on the skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder is the perfect solution for most skin types, as it blurs the skin and looks so lovely on the skin, making it so hard to dupe. Of course, the price is the main drawback.
So if Charlotte Tilbury is not in your budget, consider one of these drugstore dupes (Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder is my favorite), as they provide a similar effect and are very affordable drugstore alternatives.

No 7 didn't discontinue their powder, they just repackaged it. I haven't used the new one yet but have heard there's not much difference. Sadly, ppl on ebay are marking it up so high(at least light) that it's not worth it. I'd try the new one first. I don't know if they got scrutiny from tilsbury or something but I sure wish I would've loaded up on clearance!!!!

Thank you for comparing Olay and L’Oréal products. I am a 70 year old who has had the experience of ‘pilling’ products and I will certainly switch to L’Oréal (which I’ve used a lot of) for my future skincare. What a relief to find out what causes pilling! TY again!
