A Hair Towel That Can Cut Drying Time By Up to 50%

Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Rapid Dry Long Hair Towel

For those of you who dry your hair with a hairdryer every day, every other day or even once in a week, I’m sure you can relate to wishing that the whole process wouldn’t take so long. We could all use some help with drying our hair a little faster. When I saw the Aquis brand being recommended by a beauty blogger a few years ago, I thought I’d give it a try. I liked mine so much that I bought some for Christmas gifts, and everyone loved them. It’s the type of product you don’t think about buying for yourself. While the price makes it feel like a luxury, I think it’s worth it for many reasons.

Towel Length: Regular vs Long

I first purchased the regular length Aquis Lisse Luxe Rapid Dry Hair Towel (in the funky black and white chevron weave) that measures 19” x 42”. I loved it. It really did cut my drying time in half as it claimed it would. The only drawback for me was the length of the towel. I have long hair, so while the towel quickly wicked moisture from my hair, I’d always have some ends sticking out of the towel if I wrapped my hair up into a turban.

Today the towel still works wonderfully, but recently I decided it was time to look into buying a new one. I recently purchased the Aquis Lisse Luxe Rapid Dry Long Hair Towel (in White) that measures 19” x 52”. It’s great that the long hair towel has an extra 10” that soaks up even more water from my ends and the rest of my hair. The new towel is super soft and works even better than my almost-two-year-old original Aquis towel.

Cuts Drying Time by Up to 50%

Back to how the towel works. The towel can be used on all hair types. It claims to cut drying time by 50 percent. It barely takes more than 5 minutes to dry my long hair with a regular hairdryer. In fact, I timed it the first time I used the new long hair towel.

After I washed my hair in the shower, I used it on my hair and wrapped the towel into a turban. I then went through my self-tanning routine which only takes 5 minutes or so. I then removed the towel and dried my hair. My hair dries pretty quickly with a regular towel, but with the Aquis towel it took 4 minutes 17 seconds. The second time I tried it, it took 4 minutes and 32 seconds. Incredible!

Reduction of Frizz & Breakage

The towel is designed to help reduce frizz and breakage. This is a big one for me. It even states on the front of the package. “Truth: Hair reclaims strength when dried quickly but gently.”

These towels are woven instead of knitted. They are designed to wick water from hair five times faster than cotton without heating or rubbing. This helps to strengthen hair with less frizz, breakage or tangling. It smooths hair cuticles making it easier to style and extends the look of color-treated hair. These towels are super light and wrap securely around your hair without tugging and pulling.

How Many Hours Can You Save?

The statistics are really impressive. By using the Aquis hair towel or turban the average woman can save 13 hours of drying time per year (and 19,500 watts of power)!

This is a really unique product. Yes, the price makes this towel a luxury, but I look at it as an investment in my hair health. Damage and breakage is a big issue for me, especially as I get older. This towel is a gentle treatment for my hair and also cuts down on drying time significantly. Win-win!
